Feb 26, 2018

Sasha Seymore is among the inaugural class of Knight-Hennessy Scholars, joining a prestigious new program that fully funds students’ graduate studies in any field at Stanford University. He plans to pursue his Masters of Business Administration.

Seymore graduated from Carolina in May 2015 with majors in global studies and economics. That year, he was one of only a dozen U.S. students to receive the George J. Mitchell Scholarship and went on to earn a masters in conflict resolution and social justice at Queens University in Belfast, Ireland.

The Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program is named after Nike co-founder Phil Knight and former Stanford president John Hennessy. Its $750 million endowment makes it the largest fully endowed scholarship program in the world.
